Malcolm's Bequest is a light armor used by Malcolm Hawke as part of a disguise to meet with Leandra one last time, during a masked ball for the visiting Orlesian Empress, before he fled Kirkwall. At the end of the night, Leandra would not hear his goodbyes and chanced at happiness rather than face her gray prearranged future. Malcolm and Leandra ran into the night and never looked back. It is available in Dragon Age II after downloading the Mage Item Pack DLC.
Acquisition[]
They are found in a chest at either Gamlen's House (Act 1) or the Hawke Estate (Acts 2 and 3).
Notes[]
- The armor seems to be a re-skinned version of the Viscount's robes with added shoulder protectors.
- Wearing Malcolm's Bequest will overwrite any gloves or boots Hawke is wearing.
- Many Orlesian soldiers wear similar armor in the Exalted Plains in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
