The Breastplate of Hirol's Defense is found in a damaged state in a side chamber of Kal'Hirol - Main Hall in the slums. Like the greaves, take it to the forge in Kal'Hirol - Trade Quarter and use the anvil to receive the breastplate.
The Gauntlets of Hirol's Defense are found inside the sarcophagus by solving the rune puzzle in the Kal'Hirol - Trade Quarter in the Tomb room. Match the rune colors on the floor with the ones on the statues.
The Greaves of Hirol's Defense are found inside the Ancient Dwarven Crate in Kal'Hirol in a damaged state. Upon entering the thaig, proceed to fight a few darkspawn and once you start to head up some stairs there will be 3 deepstalkers on your right. It's right there on your immediate right (after you cross a bridge), and you'll find them as Ancient Boots. Take them to the forge in Kal'Hirol - Trade Quarter and use the anvil to receive the greaves.
The Helm of Hirol's Defense can be found inside one of the crates in the treasury room of the trade quarter near the childer-infested passageway. Go in the direction that leads to a flight of stairs.

Note: Having the set equipped before you fight The Lost and the Inferno golem is useful, as throughout the fight you will be surrounded by fire.

The Hirol's Defense armor set has the same appearance as the armor that Alistair is wearing at Vigil's Keep if he is King.
Despite its dwarven origins, the armor resembles human heavy armor designs rather than dwarven.
