Sarah Elizabeth Barrable-Tishauer (b. July 6, 1988 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actress who is best known for her role as Liberty Van Zandt in the first nine seasons of Degrassi: The Next Generation. An experienced dancer, pianist, and trombone player, Barrable-Tishauer received the opportunity to act alongside the late Gregory Hines in the 2002 made-for-television film "The Red Sneakers", which was one of her first major experiences as a television actress.
In 2001, she was cast as Liberty Van Zandt on the hit Canadian television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. She remained on the show from 2001-2009 for nine seasons. Being at Degrassi gave Barrable-Tishauer much fame, as the program has been popular among Canadian teenagers since 1979, and when Barrable-Tishauer joined, it was enjoying one of its most popular eras. Barrable-Tishauer graduated from Concordia University in MontrƩal in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies and Computation Arts. As of 2014, she is working as Digital Marketing Coordinator for Urban Adventures.
