Starman was a member of the Justice League after the Thanagarian invasion.

Background information[]

The depicted subject bears the likeness of Starman from the DC Comics; however, the DCAU character was never named on-screen, or otherwise. The title of this article is conjecture based on the character's likeness. The action figure of this character, released by Mattel in the Justice League Unlimited line, has confirmed that this is indeed Starman.

Starman is the name of several superheroes. Most notably the Knight family, beginning with Ted Knight (the original), his son, Jack, and (for a short time) Jack's older brother, David. The DCAU Starman appears to be a later version of the character also known as Prince Gavyn of Throneworld, who seemingly perished during the Crisis on Infinite Earths only to instead be converted into energy that merged with Will Payton of Earth. Payton would later discover the truth behind his powers and seemingly surrender dominance of his body to Gavyn. The DCAU's Starman is based on Gavyn.
