Synopsis for "First Date"

Tim and Zoanne go on a date at the Top of Gotham Restaurant. Tim fumbles his way through idle conversation, until he notices the other patrons staring towards the window. Outside on the ledge is Batman. Tim pretends to accidentally dump his salad into his lap, and excuses himself from the table. Running to the restroom, he pokes his head out the window and Batman tells him that a new metahuman villain named Jitter is causing trouble. Robin asks him he can take this one alone.

Tim returns to his table, but his dinner is disrupted again when Batman and Jitter come crashing through the window. Jitter has vibration generating powers and is able to vibrate through solid objects, including Batarangs. As people scurry about in a panic, Tim realizes that Jitter becomes solid when he is in direct contact with another object. He waits for the right opportunity, then flings a plate that strikes Jitter in the back of the head, knocking him out.

Later, he accuses Batman of deliberately bringing the fight into the restaurant because he wouldn't go on the case with him. Batman assures him, that disrupting Tim's date was purely accidental.
