General Information[]
Great Combustion is a stronger version of Combustion, with identical casting time and similar applications, but is less flexible in use due to the halved number of casts. It has a fire attack power of 2.4 times the Pyromancy Flame's magic adjust.
Overview[]
Great Combustion is an immensely popular spell, both for PvE and PvP. In PvE, it is great for quickly racking up damage on tough-to-kill enemies such as bosses. In PvP, it is a potent addition to any arsenal due to its high damage through most shields and large hitbox. Eight casts is still very generous for the amount of damage Great Combustion does.
The AoTA DLC makes Great Combustion semi-obsolete as Black Flame is near-identical but with the added bonus of dealing more stamina drain against targets.
