Acid Surge is a pyromancy in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- A fringe pyromancy of unknown origin. Sprays an equipment-eroding acid.
- Does not directly damage foes, but eats away at their equipment instead. Yet another pyromancy inspired by perniciousness.
Availability[]
Acquired from Straid of Olaphis by trading Royal Rat Authority Soul and 1500 souls.
General information[]
Casts a cloud of acid, causing enemy equipment to rapidly lose durability and eventually break. Unlike the acid pools encountered in certain environments and enemies, this pyromancy reduces the durability of all equipment worn. Although it clearly has limited (if any) application when used against monsters, it is a potentially useful pyromancy in PvP.
Attunement milestones[]
Like all other spells, the amount of casts per slot increases upon reaching certain Attunement milestones:
Attunement Level | Amount of Casts |
---|---|
10 | 2 |
32 | 3 |
49 | 4 |
94 | 5 |
