Patchy, or "the dog man," is a creature of unknown origin that is known to feed off the bodies and souls of people suffering from loneliness. He takes the form of something, or someone, comforting as a means to get closer to his victims and slowly eat away at them.
Appearance[]
In his truest form, Patchy will appear as an 8-foot-tall beast adorning an uncanny smile filled with layers of jagged teeth. His skin is a light grayish-brown which tightly clings to his bones and is covered in stitched-up wounds. His hair is black and stringy with streaks of silver. He has white glassy eyes that are curved at the bottom, like a crude version of an "eye smile." His proportions are elongated and sharp, with every bone and tendon easily showing through the skin. A bony rat-like tail protrudes from his spine and his ears are long and slightly droopy (like a dog's.)
Personality[]
Outside of a his comforting facade, Patchy doesn't have much a of a personality, he only acts in a way that will get him dinner. Although, if he becomes attached to someone, he'll be extra caring and in some cases, romantic. Despite his only goal being to eat them, in the literal sense, he'd still want their final moments to be peaceful.
In short, yes, he'll kill you, but he'll make sure you're happy.
Abilities[]
Patchy can shapeshift into anything and anyone, however, these forms will be flawed, the wounds on his body never leave and his silver streaks will always be prominent.
He can also mimic voices, but only his target will hear it as whoever he is trying to mimic, this is because he manipulates the victim's mind. Those around him, who are not targets, will hear shrieking cries from the souls he's consumed, rather than a voice.

- He consumes bodies because his cannot repair itself, he needs new cells to heal.
- The souls of his victims fuel his abilities, their life force keeps his facade stable.
- He is ageless and cannot truly die, however, his body can go dormant from starvation and be immobilized.
- His first victim was lured in by him taking the form of her deceased dog, hence his title, "The Dog Man."
- In rare situations, Patchy can form genuine attachment towards victims, even feeling guilty after eating them.
- The name "Patchy" is a cruel joke made by his creator because his skin looks like patchwork.
