The Male Room Challenge #101 – The Colour Blue

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the Colour Blue challenge at The Male Room.

Here is my creation…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Trim a piece of blue card stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″.
    Stamp the trees with Versa Mark and white embossed.
    Splash some white paint with paint brush.
  3. Die cut stitched snow drifts from blue card stock and white card stock.
  4. Stamp, color and die cut the character.
  5. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

Actually, I’ve made two more cards with the same design.

Cards In Envy – Hang Your Stockings with Care

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the Hang Your Stockings with Care challenge at Cards In Envy.

Here is my creation…

  1. Create an A2 card base from red card stock. Apply blueprint sketch, wilted violet and salty ocean distress oxide inks with mini ink blending tools. Splash some white paint with paint brush. Add some shimmer spritz.
  2. Trim a piece of white card stock to 4″ x 5.25″ as the front panel.
    Die cut an arch window.
  3. Die cut the town border from white card stock.
  4. Stamp, color and die cut the dog with a stocking.
  5. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

Merry Christmas

Today I am sharing another Christmas card that is quick and easy to make.

Here is my creation…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Stamp, color and die cut the gift boxes.
  3. Stamp the sentiment with black ink on card base. Stamp the holly leaves with green ink. Add Nuvo Crystal drops as the red berries.
  4. Line up the gift boxes and adhere to the card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

CAS Colours & Sketches #302 – Seasonal Sketch

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the seasonal sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Patricia, has invited you to revisit the sketch challenges from the past eleven months and turn them into seasonal creations. And I have chosen the colours from challenge #291. (tap the figures below for the details.)

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Trim a piece of white card stock to A2 size.
    Die cut the peek-a-boo windows and the edge.
    Apply squeezed lemonade, twisted citron and abandoned coral distress oxide inks on the negative pieces of the windows.
  3. Trim a piece of pattern paper to A2 size.
  4. Stamp, color and die cut the images.
  5. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape.

The Male Room #100 – Celebrate

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a pendulum card created for the Celebrate challenge at The Male Room.

Here is my creation…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Die cut a stitched rectangle from blue card stock.
    Stencil the snowfall with white pigment ink.
  3. Die cut the letters J, O & Y from white card stock four times and stack with glues.
  4. Die cut a band-aid from white card stock. Glue a spin disk on the top portion. Glue a coin behind the band-aid to finish a pendulum mechanism.
  5. Stamp, color and die cut the reindeer two times. Punch a hole on the nose of one deer. Trim off the head of the other deer with scissors.
  6. Glue the deer with a bunch hole on the blue rectangle. And pouch a hole in the same place on the blue rectangle.
  7. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

CAS Colours & Sketches #301 – Seasonal Colours

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the seasonal colour challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Ate you ready for the upcoming holiday season? Our monthly hostess, Patricia, has invited you to revisit the colour challenges from the past eleven months and turn them into seasonal creations. And I have chosen the colours from challenge #299. (tap the figures below for the details)

Here is how I’ve used the colors…

  1. Create a wreath builder stencil from white card stock. Here is the Wreath Builder Stencil tutorial video from Katy.
  2. Create an 4.5″ x 4.5″ card base from red card stock.
  3. Trim a square to 4.25″ x 4.25″ from mint green card stock.
  4. Trim a square to 4″ x 4″ from white card stock. Place the stencil and the white square on Misti. Stamp the pine leave with Pine Needles Distress ink and rotate one notch after each stamping. Repeat the process for the smaller pine leave with Pastel Mint ink. Repeat the process for the branch with brown ink. Add Nuvo Red Berry Crystal Drops as the red berries.
  5. Stamp the sentiment in the middle of the wreath with black ink.
  6. Layer and adhere all the pieces to card base with double sided tape.

Cards In Envy – The Spirit of Christmas

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the Spirit of Christmas challenge at Cards In Envy.

Here is my creation…

  1. Create an A2 card base from red card stock.
  2. Trim a piece of white card stock to 4″ x 5.25″ as the front panel.
    Stencil the brick wall with distress fired brick ink.
  3. Stamp wood plank background on kraft card stock with brown ink.
    Die cut a piece of the stamped kraft card stock as the floor.
  4. Die cut the fireplace from white card stock. Trim a piece of gray card stock as the background of the fireplace.
  5. Stamp, color and die cut the Santa.
  6. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.
