Costumes are alternative cosmetics for playable Cookies introduced alongside 
Pumpkin Pie Cookie in the Halloween Masquerade update (v2.3). They are acquired by drawing from the Costume Gacha with Rainbow Cubes, and are used to change their Cookie's visual appearance. Unlike Cookie Run: OvenBreak's Costumes, those featured in Kingdom do not offer any gameplay advantages.
A single Costume draw costs 300 Rainbow Cubes. These Cubes can be obtained through various sources such as quests, Events, the Mileage Shop, and packages. Costumes have Rarities separate from their Cookies' Rarities, determining both the likelihood at which they might be drawn from the Costume Gacha and the amount of Rainbow Crystals given if a duplicate is drawn. Some Costumes—typically Special, Epic, and Legendary Costumes—may change the visual effects of their Cookies' attacks, Skills, summoned units, and even their animations, while Legendary Costumes also add entirely new voice lines. Mystic Costumes require owning the base Costume to be able to use them.
Collecting Costumes belonging to a Costume Set grants stat buffs based on the number of Costumes owned from that set.

Costumes and the Costume Gacha are unlocked by completing a quest accessed after clearing World Exploration Stage 2-13.
