經向中華台北足球協會查證後，FIFA網頁中那面有梅花形、青天白日、太極的白旗是不存在的，中華足協已經要求FIFA更正。中華台北足球隊比賽時使用的是中華奧委會旗，這篇記錄2010年東亞足球錦標賽準決賽中華對北韓之戰的網誌中的這兩張照片（一、二）可以證明。
After consulting with the Chinese Taipei Football Association, it is confirmed that the flag with National Emblem of the Republic of China and Taijitu enclosed by a five-petaled plum blossom was never in use, and the CTFA has requested FIFA to correct it on their website. The Chinese Taipei national football team currently uses the Chinese Taipei Olympic flag at international events, which can be corroborated by these two photoes (1, 2) taken from this web blog (Semifinal competition of 2010 East Asian Football Championship, Chinese Taipei V.S.
