SANTA RITA, Guam (May 26, 2015) – Machinery Repairman First Class James Garrison, center, a Sailor attached to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), discusses the purpose and capability of the machine shop with children and employees of the Navy Exchange, during a tour onboard the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), May 28. The tour was just part of a fun-filled “Take Your Child to Work Day” program for children whose parents work for the Navy Exchange and military commands through out Guam. Frank Cable hosted the tour to showcase the Navy and Sailors to tomorrow’s generation. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
