Locality: Little Three Mine (Little 3), Ramona District, San Diego County, California, USA (Locality at mindat.org)
Size: 4.8 x 4.3 x 4.2 cm.
Another very fine San Diego blue topaz from the collection. It has a very pleasing sky-blue color and high lustre, with good gemminess that is better in person. In room lighting the color on the black background is more accurate, but in halogen or sunlight, it shows more blue on a white background. Ex. Pala International/William Larson Collection.
