Description
English: Martha Cooke Alexander and Samuel T. Alexander with their children: Martha, on her mother's lap, Wallace, Juliette, and Annie on the far right. Samuel (1836–1904) founded Alexander & Baldwin corporation, originally a sugar plantation, still part of the Dow Jones Transortation average. Annie became a palentologist and founded two museums. Wallace's daughter founded the Wallace Alexander Gerbode foundation.
