English: Brig. Gen. Jed Schaertl (left) , deputy commanding general for mobilization and reserve affairs with the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Command, stands with Col. Patrick Schuck (right), commander, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, Command Sgt. Maj. Zane Hanson, 12 CAB command sergeant major, and Chief Warrant Officer 5 Robert Slider, 12 CAB command chief warrant officer on the parade ground of Herrenwaldkaserne barracks, Germany, March 25, 2022. The 12th Combat Aviation Brigade was invited to attend the change of command for the Rapid Response Forces Division. 12 CAB is among other units assigned to V Corps, America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe that works alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retains command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European Theater.
