Description
Español: En san José Tenango Oaxaca los varones realizan el trabajo de "romper piedras" para elaborar la grava que se emplea en construcciones de casas o en pavimentación de carreteras, es su principal ingreso, ya que al ser una comunidad en extrema pobreza tienen que realizar esta labor, este trabajo se paga lo que se denomina en la localidad: "por lata"; que consiste en llenar las piedras ya quebradas en un bote de 19 litros, eso equivale a una lata y se paga entre cinco y seis pesos, no existe un horario laboral, si no más bien depende del trabajador cuántos botes puede llenar. Los niños desde muy pequeños se enseñan a usar el "marro" o "mazo" y en las tardes después de regresar de la escuela se ponen a trabajar, así como también los fines de semana o los días que no tengan clases, con esto ellos también se ayudan a generar un ingreso extra para la casa.
