Description |
Français : Julien PATIENT est né à Vasselay (Cher) le 28 septembre 1894. Il exerce la profession de cultivateur dans cette commune lorsqu'il est mobilisé le 5 septembre 1914.
Affecté au 10e Bataillon de Chasseurs à Pied, il combat en Belgique et dans le Pas-de-Calais. Son unité est ensuite envoyée fin février 1916 à Verdun. Blessé à l’œil au Fort de Vaux le 2 avril 1916, Julien PATIENT est hospitalisé à l'hôpital des Quinze-Vingts à Paris. Son œil gauche perdu, il est alors réformé. Cité à l'ordre de l'armée, il est titulaire de la médaille militaire et de la croix de guerre avec palme. |
