Summary
[edit]DescriptionMotion Camouflage Principle Parallel.svg |
English: Principle of infinite-point motion camouflage, also called parallel navigation. The pursuer moves towards the target, choosing a point on a line parallel to the baseline between the target's and the pursuer's start points. The path is used for its efficiency by insect-hunting bats and by anti-aircraft missiles.
Based on Mandyam V. Srinivasan and Matthew Davey (1997). "Strategies for active camouflage of motion." Proc. R. Soc. Lond. B. 259:19–25 https://doi.org/10.1098/rspb.1995.0004 |
