撮影場所：博多 車両番号：クハ481-203

備考：スカート下部の小さな切り欠きにジャンパケーブルが通っていた他、連結器の下部分に電気連結器が装備されていた。スカートの横の部分にも穴が開いているが鉄道ピクトリアル1988年7月号のクハ481-208の写真を見る限りでは、ここは使われていなかったようだ。ただし、自動解結装置は車両前面向かって右側のスカートの横（側面に近い部分）部分に電気空気開閉器が設けられるので、そのための切り欠きかもしれない。
