Description The Instrument Context Camera (ICC) on the InSight spacecraft is a color camera based on the design of the Hazcams used by the Opportunity, Spirit, and Curiosity rovers. It features a 1024 × 1024 pixel Charge-coupled device, and has a field of view of 124 × 124 degrees. InSight is a Jet Propulsion Laboratory mission launched as the twelfth mission of the Discovery program, and is designed for an in-stu study of the interior of the planet Mars. Its landing site is Elysium Planitia, a relatively flat terrain consisting mostly of sand and soft soil.
