English: Roscosmos cosmonauts and Expedition 63 Flight Engineers (from left) Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner practice chest compression techniques, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), during an emergency training session. The crews aboard the International Space Station regularly train for a variety of emergency scenarios to stay familiar with medical hardware, safety gear and evacuation paths. Mission controllers on the ground also participate to maintain coordination and communication protocols.
