Description
Português: A foz do Rio Iguaçu no Rio Paraná, formando a Tríplice Fronteira entre as repúblicas de Brasil, Argentina e Paraguai. À esquerda, território do Paraguai (Presidente Franco). Ao centro, o Rio Paraná sentido a montante, vindo do norte (UHE Itaipu). Acima, à direita, o Brasil (Foz do Iguaçu, estado do Paraná). Da direita vem o Rio Iguaçu nascido na região de Curitiba e cujas famosas cataratas ficam poucos quilômetros a montante. A fotografia foi tirada do território da Argentina (Puerto Iguazu, Misiones), em 2018. Vê-se ainda uma embarcação de passageiros proveniente da Argentina, destinada ao Paraguai. Posteriormente, foi construída uma nova ponte à frente, sobre o Rio Paraná, entre Brasil e Paraguai.
English: Iguaçu River converges on Paraná River, forming the Triple Frontier between the republics of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. Left is Paraguay territory (President Franco). Center is Paraná River seen upstream, coming from the north (Itaipu Binacional dam). Upper right is Brazil (Foz do Iguaçu). From the right is Iguazu River, whose famous waterfalls are a dozen miles upstream. The photo was shot from Argentina (Puerto Iguazu, Misiones), 2018. A passenger ferry is seen from Argentina towards Paraguay. Later, a new bridge was built ahead, over Paraná River, between Brazil and Paraguay.
