Description
English: Persian Gulf, 3 November 1997: On board the U.S. nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68)... the ship's "Air Boss" Cmdr. Kelly McCoy (left) from Kennesaw, Georgia (USA), and his assistant, "Mini-Boss" Cmdr. James Cox (right) from Watertown, New York, control all aircraft operations on the flight deck in the air around the carrier. The Nimitz was operating in the Northern Persian Gulf in support of "Operation Southern Watch".
