DescriptionFCP Herne Bay 007.jpg |
Postcard photo of wounded Belgians at the Cottage Hospital, Herne Bay, Kent, England, during World War I. The postcard is unused and not postmarked; however another postcard print of the same negative was postmarked 1916, which dates the original negative to 1914-1916. The photographer was Fred C. Palmer of Tower Studio, Herne Bay, Kent 1903-1922, who is believed to have died 1936-1939. This print has darkened with age, but it would be inappropriate to adjust the brightness because detail would be lost. Border |
