Description
English: Nosecone of an F-16 after it hit a greylag goose in February 1994 above the Biesbosch. The collision occured at an altitude of 500 meters and rendered the radar unusable. The pilot made a safe visual landing. The damage on the left was caused by the goose, the two tears on the right were made by people who wanted to see what the nosecone was made of when it was on display, which turns out to be fiberglass and plastics. Photo was made at the KLu Open Dagen 2007.
