Description
English: The district of Saramacca is located in the north between 5.38° and 5.99° N and in the west between 55.28° and 55.96° W. It is bordered on the north by the Atlantic Ocean,

in the west by the district of Coronie, in the northeast by the district of Wanica, in the southeast by the Para district and in the south by the Para district. Saramacca has a total area of 3,636 km2 and is divided into 6 administrative districts: Calcutta, Tijgerkreek, Groningen, Kampong Baroe, Wayamboweg, Jarikaba.

Border depiction is the official Surinamese version, as stated on the website of the Government of the Republic of Suriname.
