Description
English: Delaware Lake was created in 1951 following the completion of Delaware Dam by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is the centerpiece of Delaware State Park, Ohio, which opened in 1952. The lake was built as part of the Flood Control Act of 1938 by the construction of the dam on the Olentangy River.
