English: c/n 399
Built as a C-46A-60-CK for the USAAC with the serial 43-47328. Transferred to the Chinese Air Force on 15th April 1946 and then to Taiwan in 1949. Became 91-1145 with the Japanese Air Self-Defence force in 1960 and converted to an EC-46A (or EC-46D – depending on which reference you use). It was finally retired in 1973 and has been on display here since at least 1999. On display at Iruma Air Base Sayama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan 20th March 2019 |
