English: Coat of arms of the 1st Signal Regiment (Spanish Army)
Español: Escudo del Regimiento de Transmisiones Nº 1 (Ejército de Tierra Español)
El 18 de Julio de 2012, quedaba aprobado el nuevo escudo para la Unidad. Su justificación es la siguiente:
El sable del campo, representa el secreto de las comunicaciones y el celo del personal de Transmisiones, así como el carácter permanente de servicio. El grifo alude a la capacidad para adaptarse a los distintos tipos de misiones y circustancias. El resto de la composición es una referencia a la gesta del guerrero-mensajero Filípides, que anunció en Atenas la victoria sobre los persas en la célebre batalla de Maratón. Este nuevo escudo timbrado por corona real tiene como lema: "Por la excelencia a la victoria". Spanish Army Website/Web del Ejército de Tierra.
