For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Blick in ein Lehrlingszimmer ADN-ZB Link 17.6.78 mü Bez. Neubrandenburg: Lehrlinge - Nach Feierabend. Kerstin Borchert und Marion Teske (r.) wollen einmal Agrotechniker-Mechanisatoren werden. Sie wohnen mit einem weiteren Mädchen in einem der Internatszimmer der Betriebsberufsschule Walkandorf in Jördenstorf. Langeweile nach Feierabend kennen die 300 Lehrlinge nicht: es gibt einen Singeklub, Tischtennis, Schach, Zirkel für Fotografieren, Schießen, Kochen und Basteln. Außerdem gibt es einmal wöchentlich Kino, Discos, Urania-Vorträge und ein Anrecht am Rostocker Volkstheater. siehe auch 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9N
