For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Bauarbeiter am Nivelliergerät ADN-ZB Häsler: 30.12.74 Dresden: Vermessungsarbeiten für viele tausend Wohnungen hat Helmut Kircheis in seiner 20jährigen Tätigkeit im Dresdener Wohnungsbau qualitätsgerecht durchgeführt. Der 62jährige Techniker hat in dieser Zeit ein Stück Geschichte unseres Wohnungsbauprogramms mitgeschrieben. Auf fast allen Grosbaustellen Dresdens war er dabei und hat Anteil daran, das in diesem Jahr mehr als 5000 Neubauwohnungen an die Bevölkerung übergeben werden konnten.
