| Description |
English: Blacklane Brook Ford part one. This is the western of two fords by which the Abbot's Way crosses 1485063 as it follows Dartmoor Forest Bridleway 39 along the Erme valley. Although the river is only 70 metres away at this point, the brook has well over 200 metres to run before joining it, as its course is angled down the valley. The ford is not easy if your footwear is not reasonably waterproof. |
