The 2d Theater Signal Brigade's Spotlight shines on U.S. Army Spc.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The 2d Theater Signal Brigade's Spotlight shines on U.S. Army Spc. Derian Bernsdorff, an Information Technology Specialist with the 98th Signal Battalion's Bravo Company, a rotational Signal company working alongside the 44th Expeditionary Signal Battalion-Enhanced.

Specialist Bernsdorff exhibited exemplary proficiency of unfamiliar systems, such as the cradlepoint LTE configurations, Mission Partner Environment system, and the tactical SNAP network. His exceptional ability to configure network settings, despite a lack of prior experience on the new systems, underscored his proficiency in tackling these complex challenges.

Dedicating an impressive 32 hours over two days, Specialist Bernsdorff's commitment to resolving issues was pivotal in achieving a swift resolution. His problem-solving skills ensured the functionality of systems, ensuring a timely return of our counterparts from the 44th Signal Battalion to Germany and the successful transition of mission control.

His actions directly support the 44th Expeditionary Signal Battalion-Enhanced's mission in the European frontlines in supporting the 1-9th Forward Artillery Battalion during Operation European Assure, Deter and Reinforce making him an asset and true hero within U.S. European Command.
