Summary

[edit]
Description
English: One of many ditches in the waterladen soil of a coppice (Dutch: houthakbos) in the Duivenvoordse en Veenweidse Polder. They were planted in the Middle Ages, at the same time when the polder was created. Maintenance of these coppices was ceased by Staatsbosbeheer to let nature take over.
