Summary

[edit]
Description

Similar to the Austin 7. but heavier, better equipped and the Morris had superior performance. The Series I was introduced in 1935 with chrome radiator surround. It got the 918cc sidevalve 4 cyl engine and was available in Saloon, Tourer, Van and unique to Australia, the Utility. They were sent to Australia as a running chassis and completed by Ruskin of Melbourne.

The only changes to the 1938 Series II was a now painted radiator surround and solid wheels replacing the spokes. It was replaced later in 1938 by the restyled Morris 8 Series E.
