Description
English: Christ Lutheran Church 1245 Hamilton Street Allentown PA Established in 1903 with original members largely from two downtown Lutheran congregations, St. John’s and St. Michael’s who lived in the west end of Allentown. Current building was opened in 1907. In May of 2012, St. Stephen Lutheran Church at 14th & Franklin streets merged with Christ Lutheran due to a decline of church membership.
