Description
Deutsch: Aufriss und Grundriss zum Umlaufwasserkanal von Prandtl 1904. Der Umlaufwasserkanal ist ein rund 1,5 m langer Wannenkasten, den ein Zwischenboden in einen Oberlauf, die Messstrecke, und einen Unter- bzw. Rücklauf trennt. Der Wasserumlauf wird mit einem Schaufelrad erzeugt. Der Leitapparat a und Siebe b sorgen für wirbelfreien Wassereinlauf in die Messstrecke, in die der Versuchskörper c eingesetzt wird.
English: Elevation and ground plan of the recirculating water channel by Prandtl 1904. The recirculating water channel is an approximately 1.5 metre long tank box, which is separated by an intermediate floor into an upper course, the measuring section, and a lower or return course. The water circulation is generated by a paddle wheel. The guide apparatus a and sieves b ensure vortex-free water inflow into the measuring section, where the test body c is inserted.
