Description
English: Members of 1-163rd Combined Arms Battalion traveled to Sennelager, Germany June 8-22 for the NATO training exercise RHINO HEART. Our soldiers joined reserve Army units from the United Kingdom, Ireland, and US Army National Guard units from New Hampshire, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Maryland. This exercise saw NATO Reserve units come together as a battlegroup for the first time in more than 30 years, and included Soldiers spending time in the field conducting multiple company level missions before a culminating battalion level exercise. Learning from and teaching our partners creates better equipped Soldiers for the Montana Army National Guard and our allies around the world.
