Deutsch: Normalerweise enden hier die Breitspurzüge aus Richtung Spanien. Nur umgespurte Züge beförderten Reisende auf Breitspur nach Spanien. Vor der Gleissperre enden die Regelspurschienen. Vom Stirnwandübergang des Kurswagens Paris–Algeciras nach dem Umspuren beim Warten auf die spanische Breitspurlokomotive, die den Wagen über die Grenze nach Irún bringen wird. Die Bahnsteige sind durch Gitter und Wände längsgeteilt, bis zur Einführung der Schengener Union erfolgten die Grenzkontrollen durch den Umsteigezwang in den Grenzbahnhöfen. |
