It's mostly an aesthetic difference, but the eagle from File:Wappenschild des Deutschen Kaiserreiches (1889-1918).svg is a lot closer to the original depiction(s). Also, the tincture (colour) is wrong for Sodacannic heraldry. OddHerring (talk) 21:26, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I'm no expert in questions about the coat of arms of the German Empire from 1871 to 1918. But for me, these files don't look miscoloured. (Deutsch): Ich finde außerdem, dass es eine gewisse Bandbreite in den Farbtönen geben darf, solange die grundsätzliche Blasonierung eingehalten wird (siehe auch Kontributor 2K mit ähnblicher Argumentation). • I wouldn't say that the eagle of Wappenschild des Deutschen Kaiserreiches (1889-1918).svg is superior (which is only a personal point of view), also, the blazon is valid as long as it respects the blazonning, whatever the eagle model chosen by the file-creator; as to the colors of the five files, they are well contrasted, which is not the case with the proposed model, and that's not particularly at odds with Sodacannic heraldry. The Aran Islands should be part of Galway West, not Clare. There's no visual difference in this map, but it's resulting in incorrect coloring on derived maps for individual districts and electoral results. I went ahead and fixed this SVG by editing the source by hand, and was going to fix the rest as well, but if I have to do this every time, I won't bother -- hopefully someone else can take care of it. Curve (i) doesn't start from 0, (ii) goes in huge increments (+0.25, sometimes +0.5), (iii) unequal distances on x-axis (e.g., distance from 0.25 to 0.5 is the same as for 0.5 and 1), (iv) moreover it makes false impression that it may easily reach 100% level.
