English: Head of a male Prussian carp (Carassius gibelio (Bloch, 1782)) showing lots of epithelial tubercles which appear at spawning time. The operculum (gill cover) has a round scar from an old injury. This fish was caught in the Southern Bug river, Ukraine.
Українська: Голова карася сріблястого (Carassius gibelio (Bloch, 1782)) із чисельними епітеліальними горбками, що з'являються під час нересту. Зяброва кришка має закруглений шрам від старого пошкодження. Риба впіймана у Південному Бузі, Україна.
Русский: Голова самца серебряного карася (Carassius gibelio (Bloch, 1782)). Вокруг глаз и на жаберной крышке видны многочисленные эпителиальные бугорки, которые появляются во время нереста. Кроме того, на жаберной крышке имеется округлый шрам от старой раны. Рыба выловлена в реке Южный Буг. |
