The Dancing Penguin is a clumsy but friendly brownpenguin who appears exclusively in some PSA Secret Missions, and often cries due to something being broken. Interacting with the Dancing Penguin is usually optional, but usually rewards the player with a hint, or a gift at the end of the mission. In mission 11, the Dancing Penguin wears glasses, and cannot see after accidentally breaking them. According to the Gift from Dot, the Dancing Penguin is friends with Dot.
Mission 1 - The Dancing Penguin's telescope breaks, and the player must use the Spy Phone's wrench to fix it. The telescope can then be used to find out that Aunt Arctic's missing puffles are on the Tallest Mountain.
Mission 3 - The Dancing Penguin dances in the Night Club, but after the power goes out due to the Electromagnet 3000, the penguin starts crying outside. The player can optionally restore the power from the Boiler Room, which causes the penguin to reward the player with a thank-you card. This thank-you card is also where the penguin's name was revealed.
Mission 4 - The Dancing Penguin wants to ride the Ski Lift, but it is broken. Once the player fixes it, the penguin rides the lift. This also rewards the player with the Handy Penguin Award.
Mission 7 - At the Ski Village, the Dancing Penguin's snowman breaks due to low-quality snow, but another penguin explains that the highest-quality snow in Club Penguin is at the Snow Forts, which hints at where to get snow from to make the replacement Clock Tower gear.
Mission 11 - The Dancing Penguin is part of a group waiting for a "movie" at the Ski Village to start. The penguin has glasses in this mission, but they are accidentally sat on and broken. The player can receive a new lens from Rory who is repairing the Beacon Telescope, by trading it for a lens made of ice from a can with the Test Chamber. After fixing the broken glasses, the player can receive the Gift from Dot at the end of the mission.
Trivia[]
In #WaddleOn: Operation Puffle Part 1, a crying brown penguin referred to as "brown crying penguin" appears. This could be (or could be a reference to) Dancing Penguin.
