The Kindalo were phosphorescent beings who guarded the passages leading to the surface of Aleen, knowing it was toxic to those who dwelt beneath the planet's surface. A group of four Kindalo found R2-D2 and C-3PO, but on finding them friends, this bizarre species directed them to Orphne.
