Daniel Lawrence Whitney, better known by his stage name "Larry the Cable Guy", is an American stand-up comedian, actor, producer, country music artist, and former radio personality, known for speaking with a distinctive Southern drawl. He is mostly well-known for being a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour (along with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White). He is also known for voicing Mater in Pixar's Cars movies.
