"At Your Service" is the 23rd episode of Season 1 of Chowder and the 23rd episode of the series overall.
Synopsis[]
Mung and Chowder are beaten in a race to Gazpacho's food stand and miss out on the rare Mood Fruit. After refusing to say that she is a better chef, they must complete increasingly difficult and dangerous tasks for Ms. Endive and Panini to get their hands on the rare fruit.
Plot[]
Mung and a tired Chowder are jogging to Gazpacho's fruit stand, where the rare Mood Fruit is now in stock, and Mung wants it to make a delicious new recipe. Miss Endive and Panini are on their way as well for the fruit, and, to Chowder and Mung's displeasure, both groups cross paths. Endive uses her massive behind to knock Mung off-course, leaving Chowder as his only hope. When Panini manages to incapicitate him as well, Chowder uses a 5-cent flinging stand to get there first, but he's too late; by the time Mung catches up, Endive has successfully gotten the Mood Fruit and refuses to hand it over unless Mung does what she says, beginning with grooming himself like a cat in public. Mung balks at the idea, but Endive coerces both him and Chwoder by threatening to destroy the Mood Fruit and siccing Panini on Chowder respectively, sinisterly gloating that "this is going to be... delicious!"
Mung and Chowder find themselves as Endive's servants (including dressing up in maid outfits), and their first task is to clean, which Endive says "will look lovely on" Mung and Chowder, grease, made harder with Endive pouring more on them. Chowder is ready to quit on the spot, but Mung reminds him that above all, a chef must be strong as Shnitzel and endure whatever is thrown at them, and the revigorated young boy is able to slurp all of the grease through a straw, Endive, flabbergasted and angry, jumps into the gigantic pot and stomps to check. To her disgust, they actually did a perfect job, Mung asks her if she's ready to give up the fruit, but Endive obviously won't back down as the mood fruit turns bright red to signify her anger.
The duo next work in Endive's swimming pool to remove a "little" pool bug infestation. Still refusing to admit Endive is a better chef than him, Mung hatches a plan as he and Chowder swim to the pool; he will create a distraction while Chowder steals the Mood Fruit from Endive's neck. As Mung provokes the bugs into attacking him with Endive gleefully watches on, Chowder sneaks over to where Endive is which is swollen, sweaty, covered in hairs and dirt showing that Endive doesn't shower and shave her back that often. As a disgusted chowder climbs her back neaks and almost get the Mood Fruit. When Endive spots him she tries to shake him but ends up jumping in the pool and causes all the water and bugs to come out due to the pressure of her fall. Endive drags them into the storage, letting them peel her sack of Growtatoes. To stop them from growint, the duo peel them as fast the can. When silence falls Endive thinks she killed them. As Panini opens the door, she smiles at them (as does Endive which she made manages to hide) because they survived the peeling of Growtatoes, with added Mayonnaise. So instead of giving the fruit to Mung, she destroys them. Later on, another rare food has come to Gazpacho's store, another battle goes on.
