New York is the most populous city in the United States of America. It is also known as New York City to distinguish it from the State of New York.
History[]
Late 1800's[]
While Sam Wilder was mortal, he worked as a teacher in New York. In fact, he achieved the New York's Teacher of the Year award in 1872, but died at some point afterward and was made a Whitelighter because of his tremendously good deeds.
After 1978[]

During, or sometime after, 1978, Victor Bennett moved to New York City following his abandonment of his mother-in-law and daughters. He was there for work, as he was a businessman[1] and remained there for some time.
1981[]
Kyle Brody and Paige when back in time to December 28, 1981 to when his parents were killed.[2]
1998[]

In 1998, Penelope Halliwell died of a heart attack, and Phoebe, her granddaughter, decided to leave the Halliwell Manor and find her father in New York.[3] Unfortunately, she was unsuccessful and as she was short of money, returned to San Francisco to live with her sisters.
2000[]
In 2000, Prue and Jack were working together on a presentation to impress Mr. Cauldwell to be picked for a conference in New York. Because Prue was occupied with taking care of the baby, Matthew van Lewen, Jack took the liberty to finish the presentation himself. Mr. Cauldwell decided to take Prue out of the running, but Jack managed to convince him to reconsider. Unfortunately, Prue decided to stay and help her sisters deal with the evil spirit that is haunting Matthew's family. Jack decided to stay behind as well.[4]
2001[]

In 2001, Victor Bennett left New York and resigned his career following an e-mail from his daughter, Phoebe Halliwell, and went to San Francisco. He decided to return to San Francisco and got a new job to be closer to his daughters.[1]
2002[]
Craig Wilson was about to fly to New York because his work when the mermaid Mylie tried to get him to confess his feelings for her.[5]
2005[]
Darryl Morris relocated to New York with his family after helping the Charmed Ones one last time.[6]
After 2006[]
Sometime after 2006, Phoebe Halliwell wrote a New York best-selling book. A poster mentioning it was put up in her office at The Bay Mirror.[7]
2010[]
While washing dishes in his house, Amelia Desmots comes to visit Darryl and ask for his help with the Charmed Ones. Darryl is initially reluctant to get involved again, but the manifestation of Andy Trudeau's spirit makes him reconsider.[8]
