Mouth Devil

The Mouth Devil (口 (くち) の悪 (あく) 魔 (ま) , Kuchi no Akuma^?) is a devil that embodies the fear of mouths.

Appearance[]

The Mouth Devil possesses an appearance similar to that of an octopus with tongue-like tentacles with teeth arranged like suckers on them.

When Yoru forces the Chainsaw Devil to spit out the Mouth Devil's head, it is revealed to have two white eyes and a mouth with two mouths inside of each other, as well as another mouth on top of it.

Personality[]

The Mouth Devil's personality is currently unknown.

Plot[]

Aging Devil arc[]

At some point after breaking free from Public Safety's trap, Pochita proceeds to erase more Devils by consuming them as he continues to rampage through the city, including the Mouth Devil.^[1] As a result, everyone's mouths across the world are erased. This also temporarily prevents Public Safety from enacting their plan to sacrifice 10,000 children with Japanese citizenship, between infancy and nine years old, in front of mirrors for the Aging Devil.

After regaining usage of her arms via the Tank and Gun Devils transforming into weapons for her, Yoru shoots Pochita with the Right Gun Gauntlet. Yoru's attack creates a large tear through Pochita's body, releasing the Mouth Devil's severed head and restoring the concept of mouths.^[2]

Abilities[]

As a Devil, the Mouth Devil possesses all of the standard devil abilities which includes bestowing contracts upon humans for a price.
