Acting Sheriff was a Syndication network sitcom pilot produced by Larry Strawther which aired on August 17, 1991, but was not picked up by the network as a series.
Plot[]
The series was supposed to center on Brent McCord, a Hollywood actor who runs and becomes the sheriff of LoMiceda County after his TV show is cancelled in order to become a real hero and impress his fans.
