He explains she was once his best friend when they were both followers of Dracula. However, when he finally came to his senses, she was in too deep. He can't stop her as a ghost and will need help, but he wants one more chance to reason with her and maybe even get her to help them. However, if that doesn't work, they agree they will have to take her down. Translated - [transcript][video]: Dean: Thelma is back there, with the monsters she raises. Dean Thelma Fidel Elvis	Castlevania: Moonlight Rhapsody / Underground Caverns / Before Thelma fight [edit] When: Before fighting the Thelma/Lycan Summary: Dean attempts to reason with his old friend Thelma, while Elvis, Dean, and Leah stand on the sidelines, ready to fight her if he fails. However, she has no intention of stopping when she's so close to her goal of creating the perfect monster. She is baffled why Dean himself would have given up on this dream. She tells him he could overcome their problem even without the power of their Master (Death) and should just watch while he eliminates the humans assembled against her. Fidel, thinking she was talking about Dracula (as Death had already been defeated by Alucard), inquires about his location, but she assures him the Master will appear at the end. Since she was not given enough time to finish her ultimate monster experiment, she has no choice but to fall back on the result of her previous experiment - and proceeds to fuse with the Lycan monster nearby. Negotiations are over and the hunters must now accept her challenge. Translated - [transcript][video]: Dean: Thelma, stop it... Thelma: Are you a coward, you want me to stop?
