Um...Why isn't this in the same place as Icebrand? It's not really all that different, the only issue is that there's an Icebrand and a Rahab's Frost together in HoD. Evil Tim (talk) 19:10, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

It's a little confusing, but the main reason is that they're really two similar but separate swords. The Icebrand sword in Symphony of the Night was originally called Rahab's Frost in the Japanese version. But then later came another sword in Dawn of Sorrow that was actually called Ice Brand in the original Japanese version. Now the evidence that they are really two different swords (as you've noted) is that in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, Alucard uses Rahab's Frost (which is the same as the Icebrand in Symphony of the Night), while Soma uses the Icebrand sword. If they were the same sword, the same Ice Brand sword would have been usable by both Alucard and Soma, even if they used it in different ways. --Reinhart77 (talk) 01:28, May 13, 2013 (UTC)

There is another page that for Ice Swords that talks about all ice elemental swords. They are both mentioned in that article, along with Nathan's Ice Sword, Shanoa's Mercurious ice sword, etc.--Reinhart77 (talk) 01:31, May 13, 2013 (UTC)

Anyways, that's how I see it and why the pages are the way they are. It seems to me that Rahab's Frost is to the Dawn of Sorrow version of Icebrand as Laevatain is to the Agni's Flame. The main difference is that Alucard is not able to wield both ice swords. But I'm not opposed to merging the pages if there's a general consensus that it would be better that way.--Reinhart77 (talk) 23:31, May 13, 2013 (UTC)
